My friend is having trouble can you give us a hand. (no clapping) She XP pro
on a Toshiba Satellite 2405-S201

In Her Words:
it's hard to explain. it's like, the computer will start up and be like,
"Windows wasn't able to start successfully, please select a mode to start
your computer in", and I can choose from like, safe mode, safe mode with
connections or something like that, safe mode with something else, last
configuration that was successful, and normal mode. I tried every single
one of those modes, and it'd go to the windows loading screen at first, but
then it'd flash a blue screen and restart. and I'm back where I started

Hi

If all the mentioned options have been tried and none of them work, you will
have to look towards a 'Repair' install of XP. Dependent on the type of XP
CD - and whether SP1/1a or SP2 is installed - the following article by
Michael Stevens will help:

"How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install"
