Just bought new printer and installed software. Now on
start-up I am getting a nasty hard drive error:
"qttask.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into
drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR2".

Any have any ideas? I'm just a regular household user.

Re: qttask.exe

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a file put in the startup by Quicktime and not required. It was put on
your PC when you downloaded and installed Quicktime.

Start, Run (type) MSCONFIG (enter)

Find the entry for QTTask and uncheck it's box.

Reboot and the error message will no longer appear.
