start>search hangs computer

start>search drives explorer.exe to 100% cpu usage and hangs XP SP2 system.
Search window does not open. This only happens with one user, administrator.
If I change users it works fine.

System appears clean of viruses, spyware, etc.

Any tips on this? Thanks.
 
Thanks, but I tried this already. Reinstalled srchasst using original XP CD
and I still can't run search. Works fine with all other users though.
