Start>Programs Program Menu Problem

Art Sheppard

I have a problem because of the number of
programs I have installed, and the size
of screen font I am using. I am losing my
vision so I have the fonts set to the
largest font possible. When I open
Start>programs the menu flows off the screen,

and I can not get to all the programs that
are installed. I have tried Right Click
Start
and then opening programs to access the
programs, but only a few Icons appear. I
have gone to Documents and Settings>System to
try to find the rest of my
programs, and only a portion of them are
there.
my question is how can I shrink the width of
the Start>Programs Menu or a way to
access all the programs that I have
Installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Right click on the Start button > Properties > Start Menu tab >
Customize button > Advantanced tab > scroll down to Scroll Programs >
check mark it.

Alternately, you could always organized your Start Menu. I have 8
sub-headings under programs, with my programs organized by heading.

Aside from Accessibility Magnifier, the width of list is equal to
the widest item so if you right click and rename items, it will help.
For instance Set Program Access and Defaults makes initial Start
panel wide. Rename it to set access and so on.
