I started my computer this morning and I have lost all
the shortcut icon pictures in the start menu. They all
have a generic file type picture instead of the ones for
I.E., outlook, defrag, notepad, ect.. Mainly only the
windows specific icons but all those in the most used
list whether windows or other programs. Tried reboot,
cold boot, fix errors, defrag. Already tried reselecting
the icons pictures but it fails to change the icons back
to their original pictures. I haven't added or unistalled
anything in months and havent installed the sp2 update.
