Start Button Search finds apps but won't run

Hi all,

I discovered that when starting to type program names in the start
button search bar, all entries in the "Programs" menu are found, but
the ones that have some {GUID} instead of links to .exe files won't
start.

This is specifically annoying for all MS Office 2003 links - none of
the work anymore, until I drag & drop links to the .exe into the "All
Programs" menu - and clicking away the UAC a couple of times....

Any clue how to fix this?
