Hi,

I'm looking for a way to have outlook start when i boot the computer
and go directly to the tray (yes, i know to edit the registry to allow
minimizing to tray) and then everytime i it the exit button it goes to
the tray (the point in the end is to make sure that it is always on to
remind me about appointments)

I tried making a shortcut set to start minimized and putting in the
StartUp folder, but since i have password protected PSTs it doesn't
minimize.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help in advance,

Dan

"Bother," said Pooh as he struggled with the computer.

"It never does quite what I want."

"I wish Christopher Robin were here."

That's the way to do it.

You'd need to click the Minimize button to send it to the tray, not the Exit
button. Exiting will close it completely. This is true for nearly every
Windows-based application (except for a very few, like ActiveSync).

Outlook can't ask you for your password unless it has focus. It can't have
focus unless it's restored. To behave the way you want, you'll have to lose
the PST password and create separate Windows logins for everyone who uses
the PC, if you want multiple users on the PC.
