Just try it once more:
A company has one main office and two outlying offices.
The main form (frmMainOffice), not to enter data but to provide information
instead of a report, has as record source “qryMainOfficeâ€
For the outlying offices two sub forms are integrated in the main form:
subfrmOffice1 has as record source “qryOffice1†and
subfrmOffice2 has as record source “qryOffice2â€
All queries have besides more information the fields “Date process startedâ€
and “Date process endedâ€
The form with the sub forms should provide the sum of Days between the start
date and the end date.
According to Allen Brown, in the qryMainOffice, under the row “date process
startedâ€, I entered in the Criteria “Between [StartDate] And [EndDate]
When calling the form, the StartDate and EndDate are entered and the
information in the main office form is coming up according to the given time
frame.
However the information in the sub form is the total days not restricted by
the time frame.
I tried the suggestion of Klatuu, opened a separate form asking for Start-
and End-Date and entered as Criteria in the row “date process started†of all
two Office1 and Office2 queries. The “Between [StartDate] And [EndDate]†have
been deleted in the main queries criteria.

Instead of opening the form I got following statement, you probably all know:
“The expression is typed incorrectly, or it is too complex to be evaluated.
For exam-ple, a numeric . . . etc. etc.
In other words, I am lost. Help is appreciated.
