Start/All Programs/Microsoft Office

I clicked on "start", "all programs", "Microsoft Office";
Then I clicked on Microsoft Word and dragged it to the desktop.

I did the same thing with Microsoft Excel.

Since I completed the above actions, both of these programs are gone from
the Start/All programs/Microsoft Office selection menu.

I would like to know how to get them back on that selection menu.

You dragged them,. therefore they are move.

Do:

Start --> All Programs --> Microsoft Office ---> Right Click and Open

Minimise Microsoft Office "group" window

With the mouse, <CTRL> left-click on the Office icons. Then, right-click on
one of the "selected" icons and select copy.

Restore Microsoft Office "group" window

Move mouse point to "empty" space in Microsoft Office "group" window

Right-click and select Paste.

You apparently wanted to copy them, but you moved them. In the future,
*right*-drag an icon. When you release the right mouse button you will be
given the choice of "Move" or "Copy."

Open My Computer and right-drag them to the folder
C::\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office

When you release the right mouse, choose "Copy" or "Move," whichever you
want.
