Hi,

I'm trying to make a purchase decision here. I will only
be programming in VB, but I will need to write
applications that will access a SQL Server database on a
network server and email the query results. I know that
the Visual Studio .Net Professional will allow this.
Someone once told me that VB .Net Standard won't allow
you to program to the database. Is this true?

Thanks,
Ken
