standard toolbar macro button

Is there some way to create a macro in a template and attach it to the
standard toolbar, then email it to another person and have the button locate
it self on their standard toolbar automatically? I have been able to get the
macro to travel with the template and I have been able to get the toolbar
with the button to travel with the template BUT I have not been able to have
the macro button locate on the standard toolbar.

Does this mean that when i create a button in a template i need to create a
new toolbar for it to travel on - in other words doesn't the standard toolbar
travel with the document?

The standard toolbar remains with normal.dot. You need to add a custom
toolbar to the template. Set this is floating in the document space as you
have no control over user toolbar layouts. let the user park it where
required.

You don't need a macro to do this.

If you go to Tools > Customize and under "Save in" select the Document (the
default is always normal.dot), then make your changes to the standard
toolbar, those changes will travel with the document.

However, exactly how they will display on the recipient's machine depends on
their personalisations and it is likely that they will end up falling off
the end of the visible toolbar and not actually being visible by default. It
may be possible to control this to an extent with priorities - I've never
tried - but that would need code, but only one-off code which wouldn't need
to stay in the document.

Yes, it does fall off the end of the toolbar - and it is very easy to put
back on but - for people who are fairly new users I would have preferred to
have it there waiting for them - the bext thing is to create a small toolbar
and out the macro on it.'
