I would like to press key strokes-instead of using mouse- to:
insert new worksheet,
bring up "Open" dialogbox,
Print Preview, etc.
Please, help!

If you look at many of the items on the toolbar, you'll see shortcut keys on the
item in the menu.

For instance, if you click on File, you'll see that Open has a shortcut of
ctrl-o.

For the items that don't have these shortcuts, you may be able to use the
accelerator keys.

For instance, File on the menubar has F underlined. That means you can use
alt-f to open that item. Then notice that Print Preview has the v underlined.
So you can use v to open that item (don't use the alt here since that dropdown
is visible)

So you could try:
alt-i, w
to see what that does.
