standalone web server

Randy

Can anyone direct me to the best standalone web server? I'm wanting to
package it with a web app which will need to run on the client machine which
will have IIS turned off.
Thanks

I would imagine someone has an example of deploying the ASP.NET development
server, as it is a single assembly. You will have to spin it up as part of
your app start, of course. The origins of this were the Cassini project,
which you can still download from www.asp.net.

You probably should confirm with your customer why IIS is turned off. The
reason it is turned off may pertain to any of the other options as well.
