In Control Pannel, I have set the Power options to Never
for Stand by, yet the computer periodically shuts down as
if on stand by and powers back up in about 30 seconds.
 
is the system hibernating instead.
and the 'power back up' could be cause of a high speed
modem waking the computer. set the modem to not wake the
computer from standby/hibernate.
