stacked bars

Hi everyone,

so I have a stacked bar chart by year (so the x-axis is running across
2000, 2001, etc). But now I want to stack another stack NEXT to the
first (using the same time series 2000, 2001, etc) but without
creating a totally different series.

Currently my workaround is reorganizing the data so it's like 2000-
series1; 2000-series2; 2001-series 1, and so forth. but Excel puts
each year of each series equi-distant from each other so you can't
tell the years apart unless someone is really reading the chart.

Is there another solution to this? Any help/advice would be hugely
appreciated.

This can be done by arranging the data in your sheet. I think Peter Bullen's site still

Thanks for this website! great stuff.. unfortunately, I don't believe
the chart I'm looking for is among his many great examples... I may to
revert to Visio (ick) to do what I want.
