Stabler Unit?

I just saw this --

I have a 5Si and an 8000 and I use them to death. I thought I was
pretty savvy about these machines, but this piece threw me. A stabler
unit? Sounds like something Windows could use. What the hell is a
stabler unit and why would I want one?

I was Googling around and it appears the Stabler is simply the sheet
stacker accessory. So it's probably a printer with an optional sheet
stacking accessory... no?

Thanks Alan and rcm. Dunno why I was too stupid to think of that.
Stapler unit makes much more sense.

Then again, there are a lot of computer hardware devices that could
probably make good use of a stabler unit. Operating systems and
applications too.
