Squirrel Mail and Windows Vista

I have a few clients running Windows Vista and use SquirrelMail
webmail server for their email. When they try to upload an attachment
regardless of the size, it appears to be doing a punch of TCP
retransmits and TCP resets as well as duplicate ACKs between the
server and the client.

If I take a Windows XP SP 2 device up there and place it on teh same
network connection, email works fine.

Is there something that has changed, maybe within the last couple
weeks that has prevented Vista from uploading attachments to a
squirrelmail server?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you,

Dwane

We finally figured this out. in adminstrator mode, we ran 'netsh
interface tcp set global autotuninglevel = disabled' and the uploads
to the server began working.

Thank you.

Thanks for your follow-up report.
That autotuning setting was a common problem when Vista
was first released, but I'm surprised it is still an issue.
