James;

I need a clarification on this; I think that DAO is roadkill and I
could care less.

But seriously.. are ADP going to make a big comeback in 2011?
Is there a version Access 2009?

Also does anyone know when the next damn visual studio comes out; I was
thiking next summer.. but it will be January-ish.. right??

I too have a low opinion of DAO but I can't deny that development of
ADO classic has ceased and that DAO development has been restarted. The
reference may be called Microsoft Office 2007 Access database engine
Object Library but the file is called ACEDAO.DLL. It still hasn't
caught ADO classic in terms of properties/methods/events and,
astoundingly, Jet 4.0 functionality.

As long as it's not called DAO I don't give a crap.

Microsoft just can't run around retiring and 'un-retiring' all these
stupid languages; I mean.. GET SOMEONE WITH A STRATEGY AT THE WHEEL;
AND FLAKY ASS DAO ISNT THE ANSWER

what so we have to run around and say
