Sql server 2008 and .net

Can I use .Net 2.0 for connect to sql server 2008 ???

or Do I need use .Net 3.5 ??

System.Data.dll NET 2.0
or
System.Data.dll NET 3.5

If you just want to execute commands, etc, then SQL Server 2008
and .NET 2.0 should be fine. AFAIK, the extra bits are only needed if
you want to use the new shiny features, such as the separate date/time
types.
