SQL reformatting

I am new to Access, having previously used SQL in a company-wide OpenIngress
development environment.
I am writing queries in the SQL window.
When I save, Access reformats the code.
Is there any way to turn this feature off?
I've searched the web etc. but can find no reference.

Any help appreciated.
 
No, there's no way to prevent it (other than not switching back to Design
view)
