SQL 2005 Books Online not working in RC1 5600

I just updated a workstation to RC1 Build 5600.

I'm trying to run SQL 2005 Books Online, the July 2006 build.

It uses an application called the Microsoft Document Explorer, Version
8.0.50727.42 RTM. However the webpages of the BOL do not display. I'm
getting a message for:
"This program cannot display the webpage"

It was working under XP SP2.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Fixes?

That URL works for me in build 5728, both in SQL Server Management Studio
and IE7.

but I've used it to fix chm help files on XP clients.

I've since uninstalled BOL and am trying to reinstall it. Now I'm getting a
permission error when trying to write to the registry on the reinstall. I'm
getting ready to turn off this User Access Control permanently. This is a
major drag.

I upgrade to build 5728 and it is working for me now.
