Yup, still hanging on with IE6. I know, I am soooo stubborn. I tried that 8
and sorry, it was sooooo slow. One of these days I might change, but knowing
me, it will have to be forced on me. I know...MY BAD! :)

Have a great TGIF and weekend all. JJ

Based on opinion of FF or Fact, Robin - if the latter, prove it ;)

the proof is in the pudding
just try it
I have it on 80 machines- all clients love it and will also tell me it loads
faster than ie, uses less memory and has better security than ie

here is some opinons of those who feel the same way

Somehow I'm not converted. ;-)

If they had tested Firefox 3.5 with NoScript it would have been more
meaningful and what is that about Firefox 3.5 being crash happy? That hasn't
been my experience.

Perhaps they should open their testing suite and procedures to public
scrutiny. Earlier tests by NSS Labs have come under heavy criticism.

YMMV

Somehow the quoting was lost on that post. To remove any confusion, my input
starts at "Somehow I'm not converted."

From what to what ?

Browsers are never tested with any intergrity with third-party extensions, especially stuff like NoScript.
I do run FF (as a backup Browser with NoScript) it's all fine and nice yet *I* prefer IE 8.

This is just one "take" on a Browser test - as Robin did, many of the URL's she posted could be questioned, too.

MS MVP acronyms... no use for them (all due respect).

doesn't convert me either
firefox 3.5 loads faster and locks up a lot less than ie 8
IE8 in my opinion doesn't do that well on xp especially those who have a
computer that is 4yrs old or more
It eats memory and slows down everything. Believe me I have tested it on
older computers and saw this
and worse if you have xp sp3 and something goes haywire with ie8 you have to
uninstall sp3 prior to uninstalling ie8 which really sucks bigtime!!!!
If firefox goes nuts all you do is remove it
