This doesn't explain why v3.5.1 was released so soon after v3.5.
The changes listed almost certainly refer to v3.5 over v3.4.

Yes, I've just found ONE post among 20 or so from someone who was
getting an error message when running v3.5. How dumb of me to miss it.
