When I launch Internet Explorer the browser goes through
Allaboutsearching.com before connecting to my desired
site. What is this and How do I remove?

Download Hijack this at http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html and then click scan once you have opened the file up. when it lists everything just check all the boxes (normally at the top of the list) that says allaboutsearching.com.
