This is an error I get all the time while trying to view
my Netflix queue. It's a recent problem and no antispy
program is detecting the problem.

Winstat12.dll is a Browser Helper Object (BHO): what is it doing on your
system? Try uninstalling it, or disabling the BHO. If you have XP SP2, you
can disable BHOs from the IE Tools menu.

Microsoft Antispyware, via Tools, advanced tools, system explorers, can also
selectively block and unblock BHO's

It's a little easier to find and better labeled than IE's tools, internet
options, programs tab, manage add-ons.

Hmm - You've got a point there...

OTOH. IE BHO's does make it somewhat easier to find a BHO if you don't know
that an "add-on" is, in fact, a BHO.
