Spyware scan

My scan schedule is off by 2 days. I have it set to scan
on Sat every week at 5PM. It scans on Thur at 5PM
instead. I have tried changing the settings and it is
still off by 2 days.

The scheduler is buggy, this is a known issue and should be fixed by beta 2.

I certainly don't have a solution to the problem, but I've
been using this beta version for a couple months now and
no matter WHEN I schedule the scan, it continues to scan
every week on Friday at 4:00 PM. Since mine
is 'scheduled' for a scan on Sunday at 4:00 PM, I seem to
have the same differential in time....it's running two
days early. However, I also tried to schedule it every
day M - F at 4:00 PM and it would run on Mon, Tue and Wed
and then quit for the week.

Definitely something wrong with the scan scheduling
capability and I don't see a place to report problems to
Microsoft on this beta version....

Hopefully one of their techs is reading this message board.

I have set my scheduler for various days and time and
scan has always been performed as scheduled. Could this
be a problem other than MSAS?

I've not seen a machine yet which didn't perform scans for a specific day of
the week two days earlier. So--I'm very impressed by your experience. Next
you will tell me you've been able to scan at 12:30 PM!

They are reading, and this is the place to report. Several people have
reported problems with the scheduler (as in: everyone except "scheduler" in
this thread!)

It scans exactly at 12 on my machine at home Bill, which I consider strange
based on failure of the scan time at 12 on other machines.

I've really given up on expecting any consistency out of the scheduler, but
I pretend that it is rational for the sake of the other patients in this
asylum.
