Spyware problem

Full and quick scan worked OK on win2000 PC but when run on an XP PC it hits
a registry entry called, "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\SOFTWARE\ORL" and freezes. The
PC hangs.

The PC is infected (19 infections at the point of hanging) but I can't
complete the scan to clean it. I have to abort the scan and reboot the PC.

Don't know how to exclude this file/folder and don't know whether this is a
legit file and entry or part of a spyware infection.... any ideas?

Restart in Safe Mode and scan there.
