Spyware affecting PC performance

Since installing the AntiSpyware (a bad move I think) My
PC's performance has slowed down considerably. Even
reaching this web page took minutes on broadband. I also
keep losing my internet connection. I am also unable to
restore the PC to an earlier setting.
I am at my wits end and need to get back to work.
Please help someone.
 
Go into the add\remove programs list and remove AntiSpy or
go start\all programs\Microsoft AntiSpyware\Uninstall
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click it. TTFN.
