Siljaline,

Probably only because you were busy performing a "real service" helping many
people as you are customarily doing. And maybe I was just being "Lucky".

Back at you too (in the positive sense of course) ;-)

Lucky, if only the rest of the world was as complimentary as you, thank you.

Complimentary perhaps, but I say it because I know it to be true. I've
"lurked" and learned from you both directly and indirectly for about 4
months now. So, my YW is less appropriate than my being able to say Thank
You. ;-)

Lucky,
I am truly glad that you have learned from my posts and that of others and that it hopefully
makes and has made your Browsing experience a safer one.

It has been really fantastic, and surely has helped a lot. All of you are
very generous in sharing your experience(s).

Of course there are some pages that are still a nuisance, and a bugger to
get rid of. Once someone sent me to this one. Despite it being a nuisance,
one could get out, and it doesn't keep loading stuff in an automatic
un-ending stream. This is unlike those pages that "magically appear and
re-direct". The worst part is that when one Ctrl-Alt-Del's out of this
"Johnny come lately" page, the entire browser closes. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Most annoying webpage (don't go here unless you are bored and nothing else
to do, OK?)

(Yikes! Most annoying!) -

LS, these types of URL's once discovered, can be blocked with a HOSTS file,
tcp/ip loopback 127.0.0.1 with keywords "mostannoyingwebpage" would effectively
block URL from loading in your Browser.

I use and recommend Uncle Mike Burgess' HOSTS, http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Top -posting here Siljaline (cause I'm lazy and just got back home, forgive
me?)

Yeah it was, wasn't it? To their credit, at least they called a spade a
spade. <g>

Thanks for the "how to". Actually that one was not the problem per se. But
when I get one like
http://www.snottyPITHwebpage.com I can enter it as the keyword of
"snottyPITHwebpage" and it will be blocked then, yes? I can then say "good
widdance to bad wubbish" once and for all? <g>
