I heard somewhere that spybot's next version will only be in paid form. It
will no longer be free. Is this true?

I never heard that - yet ! Which is why we must make a donation of just a few
bucks to make such a great program available to all - for minimal financial
intput. I did when I first downloaded. Judging by the dedication and hard
work Patrik has made, it is a tribute both to him and his team that he has
managed to provide us with a great prog for so long in the face of, what must
be, limted financial funds and resources. Development issues do not come
without a price and it would not surprise me if, sooner or later, a small
charge would have to be made for the program. If it was. I would be among the
first to purchase.

No word that I've heard Robin and I speak often the SpyBot Board members.
If this comes about, there will be a freeware version, I'm sure.
