Spybot problems

Is anyone having trouble with the latest updates? I had 1.1 installed and
when it got to something called "C2.lop" in the bot status line it goes into
100% CPU utilization on my w2k machine and goes no further. I d/l'ed version
1.2 with the same result.

I d/l and updated yesterday and worked fine, I have Win XP home P-II Dell
450 MHZ with 384mb ram. I did have some difficulty the night before
(Saturday) when I got something like 'error downloading update'. Have had
that before, so I just wait awhile and try again. Probably server problems
their end. Hey, it's free, you can't have everything.

This is a known issue with Spybot S&D. There's something called a library
update that is supposed to fix this. I've seen mixed results, so your
mileage may vary. This does seem to be a machine specific issue, so two
apparently identical machines may may see one affected and the other may
work fine.

Thanks. I was able to get around this by excluding C2.lop from the list.
After reading what this was I wasn't worried about it being found in any
event. Now Spybot runs to completion.
