Thanks Randy. You're most welcome, Alan.
I get no new immunisations this time round (version 1.4)
You should have - re-immunize several times ought to do it.
PING me if no joy.

Hi Randy,

Like Alan D, I had no additional immunizations after downloading the latest
definitions.

I've tried immunizing 5 times, and I keep receiving the same message as I
did the first time I tried to immunize: "All known bad products are already
blocked."

There are 39808 bad products blocked.

Immunising several times, I still kept getting the 'all bad products already
blocked' message, Randy - 39808 altogether.

Is something wrong, do you think?

I get 39808 too, Alan, after several immunisations that didn't seem to
achieve anything.

Are you still using version 1.4, like me?

Hi Alan D,

Yes, I'm still using v 1.4.

Ah! I wonder if Randy is talking about 1.5?

Incidentally, Alan - have you noticed any change in the duration of a Spybot
scan at any time in the last couple of months? A scan used to take about 6
minutes on my machine, but now it takes about 20, and I haven't made any
substantial changes. I only use it once a week (when it updates), and I've
no idea when this change occurred. Is it just me?

Hello Alan,

No, it's not just you. On my newest (6 months old Dell) machine, with dual
processing and 2 Gb ram, the scan time used to be about 5 minutes. Now it's
easily close to 15 -- or more.

in message >i took 1.5 off because it was taking too long to
scan

You mean, even longer than 1.4 is now taking? We two Alans are both getting
scans taking 15-20 mins with 1.4 (whereas it used to take 5 or 6 minutes).
Was 1.5 even slower than that, Robin?
