How`s Hostsman behaving Alan?

Perfectly, Stu. I've had no recurrence of the 'reluctance to close down at
Windows shutdown' issue with the hostserver. The whole package is smooth,
impressive, and unobtrusive.

Hi Stu,

Does 30,789 bad products blocked sound about right?

Keep immunizing until SpyBot prompts you that -
"All Known Bad Products are already blocked".

That`s good to hear Alan ......... we have to keep the nasties out of our
systems and that must be attributed to the phenominal relentless pusuit and
input from the guys on here.. right ??

Hi Randy,

I HAVE kept immunizing until I get the "All Known Bad Products are already
blocked" message.

And the final count is 30,789. Should there be more?

That would be a question for the experts at the SpyBot Forum.

Thank you Randy. The one thing I`ve noticed with S&D is that you can, at
least, undo what you have previously done - I`ve tried the S&D hosts and then
undone again. A recount (using Hostsman) verifies my changes ... great !! I
am now at the MVPS level ......

Great news, Stu...
Did you remember to disable your DNS Client?
Assuming Windows XP.
Please see info near bottom of the MVPS HOSTS Home Page.

Yes I did. DNS client disabled and many thanx for the reading ............
Win XP (home) .. SP2 is my OS. You know Randy, having a MS OS is a bit like
developing a relationship with a woman and the ocean ......... my father once
said. "Son, one day you will come to realise women are as deep as the ocean.
" Took me a few years to figure out what he meant. What he was saying was .
"You never know whats on the bottom or makes it tick" !! Windows is no
exception !! LOL !

I say this with the greatest of respect to our lady readers - as a happily
married man of 23 + years BTW. The mystery is, `what makes the world go
round` ;;;;)))

One advantage of using Hostsman is that it looks after this for you very
conveniently.

Oh.... wasn't aware that Hostman offered this - thanks.
One for the old brain-pan <smile>
