Spybot 1.3.1TX

This latest version of Spybot (1.3.1TX) fixes the DSO Exploit glitch.
I installed 1.3.1TX on top of my current version of Spybot, rather than
uninstalling version 1.3. Works just fine.

After installing, reboot your computer. Then launch Spybot, run a
scan, let it "fix" the DSO Exploit, close out Spybot, and run another scan.
DSO Exploit should no longer be listed.

I'm fairly certain 1.3.1TX is an update file, rather than a standalone
program. I say this because 1.3.1TX is only 1.35MB in size, while version
1.3 is 4.15MB.

It is an update file, but updates the executable to fix the DSO
problem. You must have 1.3 installed before you install 1.3.1tx. I'm
having a problem in that the update feature is broken on 1 3.1tx.
When I try to update, it gives me the message: "Error retrieving
update info file. Socket error # 10022. Invalid argument"

It definitely is a result of the 1.3.1tx, because if I uninstall and
just install 1.3, the update works fine.

Does anyone else get that? How can I fix?

1.3.1TX update is working here on a Win XP Pro box.

I have selected the Australian update site but the checks all seem to use the German site for some reason. Curious!
