Spreadsheet will no longer "open" on the screen

A sheet created in Excel 2003 will no longer open after double-clicking. An
excel "screen" appears, but there is nothing showing and the top is
"shadowed" instead of appearing as normal. I am now using Excel 2007.

Any thoughts?? Thanks, Jeff
