Spreadsheet keeps duplicating drawn lines.

Our Excel spreadsheet (Excel 2002 SP3) keeps duplicating drawn lines
everytime we open and close the spreadsheet, making the spreadsheet grow 25%
in size. The lines have grown in number -- to 23,000 lines. The lines are
imbedded in iinformation and formatting that we do not want to delete. We can
select only one line at a time to delete. How can we Select All for just the
lines? Why is this happening -- so we make sure we don't do it again?

Don't know why it's happening or how to stop it, unless there's an auto open
macro doing something.

Before doing this next part - make sure you have a backup copy of your file:

You can select all the lines - unfortunately all other drawing objects, too
- by pressing the F5 key, clicking on the Special button, and choosing
"objects". Click on OK, then press the delete key.
