Spostare un web

Ciao a tutti,

ho un web in una certa posizione sul mio HD, corrispondente alla posizione
sul server.

Vorrei spostare tutto in un'altra directory, che NON e' sottocartella del
mio web.

C'e' un modo per farlo SENZA rifare l'upload di tutti i file?

Non dovete spostare l'indice. Potete pubblicare da tutta la posizione a e l'altro disc di
posizione pased o assistente basato perché FrontPage realmente pubblica il dispositivo di
piegatura al dispositivo di piegatura. Ignora il loaction sull'azionamento duro quando
pubblica ad un assistente.

I am sorry guys, I didn't see I was posting here.... I clicked the wrong
one, thinking to post on microsoft.public.it.office.frontpage

Well, Steve, I don't know if you used Google to translate, but I really
didn't get a word.
So, in english, I just need to move my web folder, with all its files, into
another position on my HD. Note, the new position IS NOT a subdirectory of
the current web folder.

How to do that (if there's a way...)

It's really hard when you use Google's translator....

Again, it seems I can't move my files from *inside* FP, cause the new
location is not a subfolder of my web's current position.

So I need to copy & paste the whole web in Windows, and at the next run, FP
will ask me to upload all files again and this is what I want to avoid.

BTW, the remote server is a Linux.

Using windows, create a new folder at the location that you want to move the web to. For example
C:\foldername

Open FrontPage, use File > Open Web and browse to c:\foldername, right click it and select Convert
To Web.
When FP is done close the new web C:\foldername.
Open your disk based web at it's current location and then select file Publish web, and set the
location to your new web at C:\foldername.

well, that too.

but since i read italian way better than i write it....well...sometimes ya gotta cheat a little

systranet.com translator is a little better as it has technical dictionary vocabulary...but it's still mechanical.
