Sovrascrivere i Favoriti da desktop a laptop

Salve,

Ho un home network che opera su XP PRO:

1 Desktop (Master) Wired
1 Laptop Slave) Wireless

Vorrei che il laptop sovrascrivesse, al momento dello spegnimento, i suoi
"Favoriti" con quelli del desktop, per dirla meglio, quelli del desktop sono
il riferimento e vorrei avere gli stessi sul laptop.

Ho provato ad usare il comando xcopy come segue ma senza successo:

1) Ho condiviso i favoriti del mio desktop
2) Ho mappato sul laptop i favoriti condivisi con la lettera Z:
3) xcopy Z:\ C:\Documents and Settings\AD\Favorites

Non succede niente.
Vorrei sapere il perché e se esistono sistemi alternativi.

In principio, quando spengo il laptop, voglio che prima copi i favoriti
(condivisi) dal mio desktop, non è una gran cosa, ma sembra un problema
trovare un sistema pulito per farlo.

I do apologize, I wrote everything in Italian not thinking I was on an

OK, I will wite it again.

I have a home newtwork:

1) Desktop (Master) Wired
2) Laptop (Salve) Wireless

I'd like my laptop to overwrite its Favorites with the desktop ones when
shutting down the pc.

I tryed the DOS xcopy function but without success, so far:

1) I shared my desktop Favorites
2) I mapped the shared folder on my laptop assigning the Z:\ letter
3) xcopy Z:\ C:\Documents and Settings\AD\Favorites

Well, when I click the .bat file, nothing happens and I don't know why.

Can you help me finding a proper and clean solution or maybe use another way
to reach the same target?
It looked simple to do, but eventually it is not.
