spooler service not working

dear sir\madam,
good evening,please I am having a problem with my
pc.anytime lwont to add a printer to my system it keep on
till me that the spooler service has stop working.because
of that I am not able to add printer to my computer.please
direct me what to do.please I am waiting for your reply.

Try starting the print spooler.... from the command prompt, type

net start spooler
(and hit enter)
