splitting the yeatrs

I have data per/year, but i want it extended for a monthly sheet.

I have:
2005 10
2006 12


I want:
Jan 2005 10
Feb 2005 10
Mar 2005 10
....etc
Jan 2006 12
Feb 2006 12

=VLOOKUP(YEAR(A5),$A$1:$B$2,2)

In this case, A1:B2 is your table:

2005 10
2006 12

And your resulting table is A5:B9. Column A of that table has real dates.

Jan 2005 10
Feb 2005 10
Mar 2005 10
...etc
Jan 2006 12
Feb 2006 12

The VLOOKUP formula is in B5, and copied down.
