Splitting Data

How do I split data in 1 cell into two cells for a range of cells

i.e how do I split £123+345 (one cell) into 123 and +345 (two cells

obvious for one cell I know but for a range of 600

Are you using Word to compose these messages, it leaves a lot crap
characters in
your messages
probably because of autocorrect and "smart" quotes or something
