Splitting a cell into two...

Hello again...

I have a cell containing a full name, ie. Karen Jones, I need to spit this
into two cells - the forename in one and the surname in another.

Is this possible, using a formula?

Thank you.

Louise,

If they are always separated by a space you can use the Text to Column
feature. Select the cell or range with your name (s). Go to Data menu
Text to columns. In step 1 select the Delimited option and click next.
In step 2 select the Space option. This will put a line between you
names where a space occurs. Click next. Select the format in step
and click Finish.

This works as Long as there is a space between the First and Last names.

Select the column with the names in it.
Select Data in the toolbar
Select "text to columns"
Select delimited radio button
Select Space as the delimiter
