I would like when I open a split form for it to open and the focus to be on a
field on the datasheet view part and not on the form view part.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.

We aren't there. We can't see what you're looking at.

We may not share the same definitions.

What do you mean by "a split form"? Who created it? Have you tried using
the .SetFocus command?

Dear Jeff, I created the form under the 'create' tab. From the 'forms'
section I selected 'split form'. I used the .setfocus.command but it directs
it in the same field on the form view section and not on the datasheet form
section (the upper section of the form) where I want my cursor to be on
opening the form. Thanks Vassilis

Where did you use the .SetFocus command?

I'm still having trouble visualizing what you're doing.

Which version of Access are you using?

As this point, I'm going to suggest that you try re-posting your question,
including all the information that's come out as we've worked on this. I
have less experience with the new features in Access 2007 than those in the
earlier versions, so you'd probably have better luck (and more eyes on your
question) if you post mentioning A'07 to start with.

Good luck!
