In outlook express and outlook 2000 you could split messages/attachment
into smaller parts when sending.
This could be found by:
Properties of mail-account->advanced->sending->split messages.

Has anybody an idea where in outlook 2003 this feature is,
or is this part realy gone with the wind?

Thanks

That was only available in Outlook 2000 Internet only mode, which thankfully
is now gone. Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003 don't support that.

I don't recall this ability in Outlook 2000. Perhaps it's in Internet Mode
Only.

great if I had known that I would never have gotten it. I frequently
send files larger than my ISP allows by splitting them. why was this
useful feature removed?

Only Bill Gates' minions know for sure, but it's a small loss, considering
there are excellent third-party freeware tools that do the same thing.
