Hi John,

How do I get rid of the AVG 6.0 splasg screen when I boot up?

I don't know (I don't use AVG), but isn't AVG up to v7 now? You
should probably update your AVG version in order to get the best
protection, as I'm sure there must be some detection engine updates
included in the latest version.

I no longer use this, but isn't there a box to check in one of the
set-up or config screens?

If you are trying to remove the program completely, click "Start",
"Settings", "Control Panel", "Add/Remove Programs", highlight
"AVG6", and click "OK".
