Spinners and Scroll bars

A

Andy

Hi i think i already sent this but anyway...
I have 2 questions:
1)Create a spinner for the deposit £0-£250 increments of
£25 (Link cell here is the cell containing the deposit).
2)Create a scroll bar for the interest rate. Delete the
value you typed in for the interest rate and put in a
formula related to the link cell.

I have no idea what any of this means and any help would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,
Andy

Here goes, Andy
1) There are two ways to get controls (a) from the Forms toolbar and (b)
from the Controls toolbar. The former are simpler to use, the later have
more options. We'll go for (a). Use View|Toolbrs and click Forms
2) Double click on the spinner tool, move mouse pointer to worksheet and it
should have a + shape. Drag to make a rectangle (tall and thin)
3)Right click your spinner, open Format Control, go to Control tab, put a
cell reference (such as A1) in the Cell to Link box (it may become $A$1).
Set the Min, Max and Incremental change values (all must be positive)

The slider is similar but has an Incremental and a Page Change - one is for
clicking up down arrows, the other is what happens when you click the
'white' space in the slider.
