If you plan on frequenting the newsgroups on a regular basis then you
can always use Outlook Express to access them. Here's a link that will
add this newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.docmanagement
I'm not 100% certain why spell check wasn't included but I can assure
you it was requested.
Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
Spell checking, if required, has to be done by the usenet client of the
person who posts the message. It is NOT done server-side after the
message is posted - that would be a violation of internet standards.
Currently you use the web interface, but if you use a real usenet
client, it can have a spell checker on board or as an add-on.
For example:
* Outlook Express can use the Word spell checker
* XanaNews uses the free ispell spell checker, if it is installed.
