I find that my spellcheck has got the wrong language dictionary and is
therefore not working. I'm wanting to find out out to correct this. I'm sure
there is a registry entry but not sure how to find it. Suggestions?

The spellchecker is usually tied to Microsoft Office,
so see if the version you have is in the correct language

Here's a thread that discusses the Word spellcheck:

Narrow this search by adding OE or whatever program has this problem:

Mine too....is now in FRENCH....I have made calls to MSN with NO
help....looked everywhere and NO help...it just disappeared!!! I wish I knew
how to fix this problem...judy

May I assume you are using Outlook Express? There are OE newsgroups for OE
questions. However...........

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:

Outlook Express cannot use the MS Word spell check in Office 2007.
Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this.
