Spellcheck on Outlook Express

Jerry

Being a former Windows 98 user, I have been disapointed
to find out that spellcheck does not work in Windows XP
Home in Outlook Express. The way I understand it, it
works in Windows XP Office. Is this correct or is there
a way to activate spellcheck in Windows XP Home?

No version of Windows has ever included a native spellchecker. In order for
spellcheck to work you are required to install an MS Office family product.

This one works perfectly without the need for Office 2000.

This application has the same spell check engine as that of Office 2k.
There is no need to run this application everytime. Just install it and
spell option should be available.

Help me out here. OE has never had a Spell Checker>? Unless you have an
Office 2000 Product?

As far as I can remember I have always had a spell checker in OE. And I have
just recently bought and installed an Office 2000 product (Front Page 2k).

Mine is under (In OE) Tools/Options? Spelling Tab...

I'm So confused...

If you had spell check in OE, you had somting installed to enable it. Word,
Works, Publisher, third party spell checkers, etc. but you had to have
something, because that is the only way you every had spell check in OE.
