Spellcheck Oddity

In Word 2003, it'll catch "the the" as duplicates and suggest deleting one
of them, but it won't catch "that that." Any way to make it do so? Thanks,

It doesn't catch "that that" for the same reason it doesn't mark "had had":
this combination can occur legitimately in correct text.

Nope. Grammatically, that that is sometimes correct.
